My family has been in business in Midland for more than 30 years.  Digging the roots even deeper, my husband Jim recently started his own small business here in Midland.  I am blessed to be the proud mother of Jason, Nick and Kaylee, as well as surrogate mother to 2 Chihuahuas-Cheech and Gigi. 

Although I’m a native Texan, I began my career in the title industry in Port Charlotte, Florida quite by accident.  I was hired as the receptionist for one of S.W. Florida’s top producing title companies.  As I began setting up new orders and learning to pull deeds and tax information, it became apparent that I had the gift of determining how all the pieces of land transactions fit together.  It was also clear that I was adept at searching public records and figuring out other sources of information to research in order to find missing information.  Returning to Midland after Hurricane Charley in 2004, I worked as an abstractor for a company that specialized in title searches for pre-foreclosure properties.  I traveled to courthouses in more than 20 West Texas counties.  I am now proud to be part of the team that provides the background information necessary to assist you in your home purchase here in Midland.  This is by far the friendliest team I have ever been a part of.  Here at Permian Abstract, we are truly a family.
